The Instructor
John Yates (AA, BS, MAR) is the founder and director of Faith Bible Institute Ministries and the pastor of Rowland Road Baptist Church in Monroe, LA. He has been widely used as a speaker in churches, camps, conferences, schools and colleges across the U.S. He has taught through the Bible seven times in Bible Institute courses and authored two 7-volume commentary sets on the Old & New Testaments and a 6-volume set on Theology.
Three Year Program
Faith Bible Institute (FBI) is a three-year chronological study of every book of the Bible, a systematic study of every major Bible doctrine, and a topical study of many cutting edge issues facing believers today, including subjects like Evangelism, Creationism, and Marriage. FBI is designed to take every Christian in every church on a life-changing journey through every word of the Bible. Through DVD video satellite schools in hundreds of local churches around the globe, thousands of laymen and pastors have studied with Faith Bible Institute each week since its founding in 1985. Basic classes meet only one evening each week. The 3-year course is divided into six semesters of 17 to 18 weeks.

Electives
FBI electives may be taken independently from or along with our full 3 year program (to earn an Advanced Diploma in Biblical Studies). Elective courses are available on the subjects of Personal Evangelism, Discipleship Evangelism, Bible Prophecy, Angels, Scientific & Biblical Creationism, and Biblical Principles of Marriage. Other courses will be available in the future. All FBI courses are video-taped before live classes at FBI's central location in Monroe, LA, and viewed by thousands of students at Satellite Schools across the US and Internationally.
