COVID-19 Announcement

"We have an anchor that keeps the soul. Steadfast and sure while the billows roll, fastened to the Rock which cannot move, Grounded firm and deep in the Savior’s love."

I am so grateful that we have an anchor, and I trust you are grounded firm and deep in Him tonight, though the billows around us are rolling! Most of you are aware that the Governor of Michigan has issued another executive order whereby no assemblies beyond what has been deemed "essential" is permitted through April 30th. Therefore, for the time being, we will be moving our services and church gathering into the digital arena! We will meet together on Facebook and YouTube via our website. Only pastoral staff and those essential for the production of the live-streaming service (musicians, sound-booth workers, etc.) will be meeting at FBC so that we are in compliance with this executive order.

Please continue to monitor the FBC Facebook page, website, and other social media outlets, as we will be giving continual updates and additional information for the services taking place this coming Sunday and future services. The circumstances of our present situation are constantly evolving, and we are trying to be proactive in how we can stay connected as a church without interruption to our worship of our God!

As your pastor, let me encourage you to remember and consider that with us not meeting in person here on the premises, it is not a time to become disconnected from the church family, but to be MORE connected! I would encourage you to reach out to at least one other church member each day via text, email, phone call, etc., and check on them, ask for prayer requests, maybe share a verse or encouraging thought. If there are those around you who are unable to watch the live-streaming at their own home, consider inviting them over to your house to watch the services with you if you are comfortable with doing so--also, if you do not have the means of watching the live-streaming broadcast, or you are willing to have other church members come to your house to watch the services, please let us know in the church office and we will help you connect. If you are in any kind of other need, please reach out to us and let us know; we, as church leadership, will do whatever we can to help in way way we can. Please take this time to grow closer to your family, your God, and your Bible!

Looking forward to reaping blessings from the hand of our Lord in the midst of this trial,

Pastor Steven Henry
